Mathematics

Mathematics as a subject has cultivated extreme reactions from people. There are those who like it, love it, and those who fret over it, or simply abhor it. At Asketa Academy, we not only understand this, we have figured the causes and the solutions for it.

In our academy, we don't just teach Mathematics.... we make you fall in love with the subject by understanding it from the grass root level. We don't simply tutor the academic topics, instead our teachers support the students in delving into Mathematics on their own in several fun and novel ways best suited to the child's existing expertise and interest levels.

OC and Selective Exam Preparation (For NSW/Victoria/QLD)

Special preparatory sessions are available for children wishing to appear for OC and Selective exam tests. Every year we add success stories to our students' academic journey. These classes are focussed on the tests where we provide an overview of the exam, including the format, duration, and what students can expect on the day of the test. A variety of preparation materials, such as practice tests, sample questions, and study guides in the sessions, to help students prepare for the OC and Selective exam.

Provide tips and strategies for students to help them perform well in the exam, such as time management, test-taking techniques, and how to manage stress. Provide online practice tests in sessions that mimic the format and difficulty level of the OC/Selective exam, along with detailed explanations and feedback of the same to the students in session.

NAPLAN / ICAS / AMC / AMO Preparation

Our program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed on test day. Our program is aligned with the latest curriculum and covers all the necessary topics and skills required for the competitive exam including one-on-one support and tutoring services to help students who need extra assistance or have specific areas of weakness.

HAST / GAT / Lateral Selective Entrance Exam

We understand the importance of competitive exams and the impact they have on a student's future. Our program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed.

One of the key features of our program is the emphasis on application-based questions. Rather than focusing solely on direct questions, we recognize the importance of developing mathematical reasoning abilities, quantitative reasoning, abstract and critical thinking skills.

For English language proficiency, our program includes comprehensive English language training that covers not just fiction or non-fiction, but also passages from humanities, science, geography, and data analysis etc. This ensures that students are well-prepared to tackle the various types of passages they may come across.

Another important aspect of our program is the focus on writing essays. We understand that selective schools place a high emphasis on higher modality vocabulary words, content, and expression of ideas and thoughts. Our program includes the use of higher modality vocabulary words, as well as instruction on how to express ideas and thoughts clearly and effectively.
